Excursion to Coonoor

In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to see some spectacular sights in Munnar covering Mount Carmel, the first Catholic Church in the high ranges, tea factory, Mattupetty Lake and echo point. Later visit the Eravikulam national park famous for its Nilgiri Tahrs. |

Day 7
Munnar - Thekkady
|
Arrival and check in to the hotel. Rest of the day will be free for enjoying the natural wonders of Thekkady. Later enjoy the boat ride at the Lake Periyar where one can have a unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. (Subject to sighting). |
