Day 2
After Enjoying Breakfast Visit To Kufri
Kufri is 19 km away from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. Well known for its ski slopes. Commands good views. It also has a Potato Research Station. Shimla has an added attraction of mini zoo amidst dense forest to the tourists where a rare breed of wild animals and pheasants species commonly found in Himalayan forest region have been kept in natural habitat. Spread over an area of twenty hectares of land with rich flora and fauna about 140 wild animals including pheasants of different verities 'Monal' the state bird of Himachal Pradesh and one of the endangered species of Himalayan region has been the other attractions of this zoo also been placed safely in this mini zoo. The other attraction of this zoo are Tibetan wolf, Brown Bear and Barking Deer. There are other popular wild animals species in the mini zoo such as leopard, Ghoral, Samber, Himalayan Thar, Yak, black bear and number of pheasants varieties. Himalayan Nature Park has been set up at Kufri in 1992 which is spread in 90 hectare area and mini zoo has been set up in this Park.

Day 3
Shimla To Manali
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Manali. On the way sight seen of Kullu :
KULLU :
The distance between Kullu and Manali is 40 kms. Kullu is a wonder - filled, picturesque excursion itinerary from Manali. The place is characterized by fascinating mountains, calm, placid and gorgeous valleys, gentle breeze, and whispering pines. Kullu finds mention in the great Indian epic Mahabharata as many mythological figures came and resided in this valley of the gods. Upon arrival check in hotel take rest. |

Day 4
Rohtang Pass
After breakfast proceed to Rohtang Pass, 51 km from Manali. Located at a height of 3980 m, the Pass once served as a crucial trade route, and still remains the gateway to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti. The gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and the Leh valley, it is an important excursion point, a paradise for the adventurous tourist. You can also see the precipitous cliffs, huge glaciers and deep ravines. However, this pass is open for tourists only during the summer months. Rest of the year the traffic flow is interrupted due to the heavy snowfall.
Rahalla Falls :
It is located at an altitude of 2,501 m. It is a natural spot where tourist can view the natural beauty. It is also become one of the famous tourist spot. It lies on the way to Rohtang Pass The rahalla falls are the result of melting glaciers. It is about 27 km away from Manali and the area around the Rahalla falls is marvelous, can't be expressed in words. It provides the very clear view of surroundings. Its surroundings also include silver birch trees, forest of deodar. The fresh and aromatic air provides relaxation, piece of mind to the visitors.
Solang Valley :
Located at a distance of 13 km from Manali town, Solang Valley is known for its beautiful landscape, thrilling snow - capped mountain peaks and the view of the glaciers. You can have a breathtaking view of the Himalayan range from the various view points. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali.

Manali - Local Sightseeing
After taking refreshing breakfast proceed to :-
Beas River :-
The Beas River is a river in the northern part of India. The river rises in the Himalayas in central Himachal Pradesh, India, Its total length is 460 kilometers (290 mi) and its drainage basin is 20,303 square kilometers (7,839 sq mile) large. Rafting can be enjoyed downstream on the Beas River from Pirdi to Jhiri on a track of about 16 km in length. River Beas offers excellent Grade II and Grade III rapids. The Beas is a wild river, rafting on it requires strong nerves and stamina. The seasons last from May to mid - June and from end - September to mid - October. There are number of operators locally operate rafting and for leisure guests traveling to Manali Rafting is one of the popular activities.
Hadimba Temple :
It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was a character in the Indian epic, Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground, which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in the year 1553.
Manu Temple :
The ancient Manu Temple in Manali has a distinct historical background that is appealing to most people who visit the pilgrim spot. According to Hindu mythology, Manu sage is the divine creator of the human race in the world. It was in this region that the sage dwelt and meditated. The region of Manali grew by the Manalsu River that flows into the River Beas and was named after the sage who resided in this region.
Vashishth :
Village Vashisht is mentioned in the early Vedic Texts (Vedas) and Detailed in the Ramayana as the abode of one of the seven rishis (saptarishi) or founding fathers of the Vedic civilisation. The Vashisht Temple is a popular tourist destination with its hot sulphur springs that are support to have curing properties. This destination became popular through the happy movement in the 80's and today is a mass tourism destination with visitors from all over India and the globe. Vashisht is 3 km from Manali town.

Manali - Dharamshala

St. John's Church :
One of the most poignant memories of the British Raj is the church of St. John, situated in the wilderness. This charmingly dressed stone church is located just 8-km from Dharamshala on the way to McLeod Ganj. Under the shade of Doedar branches, a memorial has been made over the body of the British Viceroy, Lord Elgin who died at Dharamshala in 1863.
Dall Lake :
Surrounded by high and green Deodar trees is the lake, which fills a mountain bowl. Situated 11-kms away from the town, this lake is easily approachable by road and makes an enchanting and serene picnic spot.
The Shrine of
Bhagsunath :
Just 11-km from the town center of Dharamshala is the ancient temple of Bhagsunath. There are many fresh water springs close to the temple, which are considered sacred by the Hindus.
War Memorial: Set amidst the pine groves is a war memorial, built on the entry point of the Dharamshala to commemorate the post independence war heroes of Himachal Pradesh. A web of narrow paths and landscaped lawns lead towards this monument.
