Day 4
Active day
One of following activities (depends by weather)
River Adventure
A rafting tour on Buzau river means waves up to 2 meters tall, unpredictable obstacles, a spectacular scenery and a lot of adrenaline. The route is 15 km long, with a degree of difficulty varying between low and high (ww I-IV). Professional guides certified by the International Rafting Federation who are familiarised with the river will accompany you and make your experience unforgettable. Anyone who is interested can participate regardless of age, physical condition or experience. On our way back we ll stop at the famous Mud Volcanoes, a seemingly sci-fi landscape where huge bubbles of mud make the ground boil.
Offroad in Carpathians
Discover the natural treasures of the Carpathians on a spectacular off-road trail going up to 2000 meters altitude
Explore the area in the company of Romanian natives who ll share interesting facts about the history, geography, flora and fauna. As a novel and interesting part of our tour, we ll visit a sheepfold, a remote place up the mountain where shepherds live in isolation most of the year, relying on dogs especially trained to defend them from the attacks of wolves or bears. Moreover, you ll have the opportunity to see how shepards prepare traditional dishes made of cheese and sample different types of cheese accompanied by wine or drinks made from wild fruits. |

Day 5
Wine tasting seminar and shopping
Known as the biggest salt mine in Europe, Slanic Prahova stands today for one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania. Unique in the country, but also in Europe, the salt mine is formed out of 14 rooms, trapezium shaped, with an opening of 32 meters at the basis, 10 meters at the ceiling and 45 meters height. The total area is of 78,000 m2 and the excavated space is of 2,9 millions m3 of salt.
The wine region Dealu Mare (Big hill) is one of the most famous and oldest wine-growing districts in Romania and said to be the Tuscany of Romania. Indeed it is situated on the same latitude as Northern Italy. Dealu Mare offers more than 3.000 years of history, a Mediterranean climate from April to October and excellent wines from sunny southward hills. We will visit two of Romanias best wineries, learn about wine production and taste internationally awarded Romanian premium wine. Bucharest hosts famous designer brands, as well as several local fashion designers, who are appreciated even at Hollywood. The shopping centers - mostly malls- look impressive, nothing unlike other European capitals.
Before the party starts we recommend taking a stroll through the old historical center. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere of dozens pubs and cafes filled with young people gives the impression of an endless holiday.
