Day 1

Imphal arrival

Arrive at Imphal airport you will be received and greet by our company representative. After refreshment visit Sri Govindjee Temple, the Shaheed Minar, Museum and Woman Market. The eye catching Minar also serves as an ideal background for photo-shoots. Evening free for leisure.

Day 2

Imphal sightseeing

Today visit Loktak Lake and Keibul Lamjao National Park. The Loktak Lake is the largest fresh water lake in the North-East. The Keibul Lamjao National Park is located in the south western part of Loktak Lake. Keibul Lamjao national park is the only floating park in the world. After that visit War Cemeteries. Evening free for leisure.

Day 3

Imphal to Kohima

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Kohima (215 km) - the capital of Nagaland, a newly created state of India. Kohima is a beautiful town known to the world for halting the Japanese force during the Second World War. On the way visit the Heritage Village of Kohima, Kisama. The nomenclature of Kisama is derived from two villages namely, Kigwema (KI) and Phesama (SA) and MA which means Village, on whose land the Naga Heritage Village is established and commissioned by the State Government of Nagaland.

Day 4

Kohima sightseeing

Today morning ready for Kohima sightseeing. At Kohima visit - The World War II Cemetery that lies in a beautiful surrounding, the Cathedral of Reconciliation, the Bara Basti, the Nagaland Museum. And visit Khonoma Village. Khonoma is a small little village which showcases the delightful views of Nagaland's natural beauty and ecological diversity. Evening free for leisure.

Day 5

Kohima to Kaziranga

This morning proceed to Kaziranga National Park (250km) - a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 Sq km. It is the home to more than 80 percent of world's Rhino population. On the way to Kaziranga visit Ruins of the Medieval Kachari Kingdom at Dimapur.

Day 6

Jungle activity at Kaziranga NP

Early morning go for Elephant ride (5.30-6.30 a.m. / 6.30-7.30 a.m.) in the Central / western range of the park then back to resort and have breakfast, afternoon go for an exclusive jeep safari (2.30 p.m. onwards) in the central range. Evening free for own activity.

Day 7

Kaziranga to Nameri

Today drive to Nameri National Park (160km) - covering an area of 200 sq km, famous for high density of Elephant population. On arrival at Nameri check into Nameri Eco Camp. Evening explore the surround the camp site on foot.

Day 8

Nameri to Itanagar

Day free for leisure activities in Nameri. You can do adventure activities like trekking through Nameri Forest Reserve to explore its major wildlife (2-3hrs) or enjoy river rafting at Jia-Bharali River (2-3hrs). After lunch drive to Itanagar - the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh dotted with archaeological Sites of great historical value. On arrival at Itanagar check in hotel.

Day 9

Itanagar sightseeing

Itanagar to Tezpur

Tezpur to Shillong

Excursion to Cherrapunji
