The Chinese fishing nets (Cheena vala) are fixed land installations for an unusual form of fishing - shore operated lift nets. Huge mechanical contrivances hold out horizontal nets of 20 m or more across. Each structure is at least 10 m high and comprises a cantilever with an outstretched net suspended over the sea and large stones suspended from ropes as counterweights at the other end. Each installation is operated by a team of up to six.

• Supplimentary charges would be applicable for Any Conference / Festival times / Public Holidays etc.
• Hotel Check-In time is 14.00 hrs & Check-Out time 12.00 Noon.
• Houseboat Check-In time is 12.00 Noon hrs & Check-Out time 09.00 AM.
• Houseboat AC Timing for STD/Deluxe Houseboats will be : 08:00 PM – 06:00 AM & Luxury Houseboats will be full time AC
