Pari Mahal or Fairies Abode is situated on a hillock over looking the beautiful Dal Lake. This terraced arched garden was built by Dara Shikoh, the eldest son of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in mid-seventeenth century. This construction served as an observatory and a teaching school for kids to learn astrology. The fact that you have a clear view of the sky that is minimally obscured by the huge mountains that surround entire Kashmir makes it an ideal spot to observe stars at night.

Day 2
Srinagar-Sonmarg

Today we will visit Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way we stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse(at your own cost) to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. |

Day 3
Sonmarg -Gulmarg

In the afternoon drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. |

Gulmarg-Pahalgam

In the evening Leave Gulmarg for Pahalgam or the Valley of Shepherds via Srinagar.. The total distance of about 140 km will be covered in about 4 hrs. After reaching Pahalgam, you will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy the lunch and dinner |

Srinagar-Mughal Garden tour+Parimahal & Chashmashahi

Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. In the evening visit the Chashmashahi gardens and Parimahal Gardens on the Zabarvan Hills. |
